A full sweep of the chimney or flue, cleared top to bottom and checked over while I'm there.
I sweep the chimney or flue properly, not just a quick brush through the top. That means clearing the full length, checking the stove or open fire itself, and looking for anything that needs attention before it becomes a problem - a cracked liner, a build-up of tar, or a bird's nest blocking the flue.
Once it's done I'll tell you honestly what condition it's in. If everything's fine, that's the end of it. If something needs sorting, I'll explain what and give you a free quote, no pressure either way.
