Sorting the pest problem is only half the job, proofing is what stops it coming back. Once a treatment is done, I go over the property looking for the gaps, vents and access points that let the problem in to begin with, and either seal them up myself or tell you exactly what needs doing.
Every property is different, so the advice is specific to what I find on site rather than a standard checklist. Where I can fit proofing measures myself, I will; where it's more of a building job, I'll tell you plainly what needs sorting and why.

I had a wasp nest in a large underground hole next to my fish pond. Carst Pest Control came out the very same evening. The nest was in a particularly awkward location, so Tafadzwa had to carefully dig away vegetation and soil to locate it. After treating and removing the nest, Tafadzwa stayed to make sure there was no further wasp activity before leaving. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained every step of the process in great detail, which I really appreciated. The following morning, he even sent me a text message to check whether I had seen any further wasp activity. Communication with Tafadzwa was excellent throughout, and it was clear that he really knows what he is doing. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Carst Pest Control again if I ever have another pest problem in my house or garden. Highly recommended.
