How does the pest control process work?
It starts with a free survey, I come out to your property, identify the pest and find out how and why they're getting in. I'll explain everything clearly and give you a no-obligation quote before any work begins. Once you're happy, I carry out the treatment and any proofing needed to stop the problem recurring.
How much does pest control cost?
Every job is different, so I always survey first and then give you a fixed written quote, no surprises on the bill. The survey is free and there's no obligation to go ahead. I also offer blue light and military discounts, so please mention this when you get in touch.
Are you insured and qualified?
Yes, I'm fully qualified and insured, and I've been working in professional pest control for over ten years. You can be confident that all treatments are carried out safely, legally and to a professional standard, whether I'm working in a family home or on a commercial premises.
How long does a pest control treatment take?
It depends on the pest and the scale of the problem. Some treatments are completed in a single visit; others, particularly rodent control, may need two or three follow-up visits to make sure the infestation is fully cleared. I'll always be upfront about this from the start so you know exactly what to expect.
How do you know what's actually causing the problem?
I start every job with a proper survey rather than just treating what's visible on the surface. That means identifying entry points, signs of activity, harbourage areas and the underlying cause, whether it's a gap in brickwork, a drainage issue or something else. Treating the symptom without finding the cause just means the problem keeps coming back.
