What does the process look like from start to finish?
I start with a free site visit to assess your existing surface and base, discuss stone colours and edging options, and take measurements. You then receive a fixed written quote. Once you're happy to proceed, we agree a start date, I prepare the base, lay the resin bound surface and leave the site clean and tidy. Most domestic driveways are completed within one to two days.
How much does a resin driveway cost?
Every job is quoted individually after a free survey — there's no standard price list because driveway size, base condition, stone choice and any groundworks all affect the final figure. You'll receive a fixed written quote before any work begins, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Are you insured and is the work guaranteed?
Yes, I'm fully insured and all work comes with a workmanship guarantee. I use quality resin bound aggregate systems designed for long-term performance and I stand behind every finish I deliver.
How long will the job take?
Most domestic driveways take one to two days from preparation through to the finished surface. Larger or more complex jobs — with significant groundworks or multiple areas — may take a little longer. I'll give you a realistic timescale when I quote.
How do you know if my existing base is suitable, or whether I need groundworks?
That's exactly what the free survey is for. I assess your existing tarmac, concrete or hardcore base for stability, drainage and level. If there are issues — cracking, subsidence or poor drainage — I'll explain what needs doing and include any groundworks in the quote. Cutting corners on the base is the main reason resin surfaces fail, so I won't skip that step.
