Hi, I'm Holly — and every dog I meet is treated like my own
I'm Holly, and I run For Your Paws Only from Martock. I started grooming because I genuinely love dogs — all of them, even the wiggly ones, even the ones who'd really rather be somewhere else. I take real pride in making every visit feel calm and safe, especially for dogs who find grooming a stressful experience.
I specialise in working with nervous and anxious dogs. I've had the privilege of helping dogs who once needed a muzzle to get through a groom leave feeling relaxed and settled — and that means everything to me. I take things at their pace, never rushing, always patient, always kind.

What grooming services do you offer?
I offer full grooms, bath and blow drys, nail trimming, teeth cleaning and a gentle first groom for puppies. I also specialise in grooming nervous and anxious dogs, taking things carefully at their own pace to build trust and confidence over time.
How do I book an appointment?
Just give me a call on 07720 617558 and we'll find a time that suits you and your dog. I'm available Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 5pm.
How much does grooming cost?
Prices vary depending on your dog's breed, size and coat condition. Give me a call and I'll be happy to talk through what's involved and give you a price before you book.
How long will a groom take?
It depends on your dog's size, coat and how comfortable they are during their visit. I never rush — I take as long as your dog needs to feel relaxed and looked after throughout.
My dog is very nervous — can you still help?
Absolutely — nervous dogs are very welcome. I specialise in caring for anxious and reactive dogs and go entirely at their pace, building trust gently so that each visit becomes a little easier and more comfortable for them.
Where are you based, and which areas do you cover?
I'm based in Martock, Somerset (TA12 6DY). I welcome dogs from across the local area including South Petherton, Langport, Stoke sub Hamdon, Yeovil, Somerton, Ilminster, Crewkerne and surrounding villages.
