Hi, I'm Dave. I sweep chimneys across Axbridge and the surrounding Somerset villages, covering open fires, wood burners and solid fuel stoves. My job isn't just to clear the soot — it's to make sure your flue is safe, clean and drawing correctly before I pack up and leave.
Cleanliness is something I take seriously. I use dust sheets and a vacuum system throughout so your home stays spotless, and I'll always leave the fireplace exactly as I found it. Every sweep comes with a certificate you can hand straight to your insurer or landlord, so you have the paperwork sorted from day one.
I work Monday to Saturday and I'm known for responding quickly and turning up when I say I will. If I spot something that needs attention during the sweep, I'll tell you plainly — no pressure, just honest advice from someone who has seen it all before.
